Peter Bortner wrote an article in the Pottsville Republican Herald about a trial held in the Schuylkill County Courthouse, Pottsville, Pa. He stated that a CI was taken to the police station and searched both before and after an undercover buy.
This was not true. Both the Detective and the CI stated (under oath) that the CI was not taken to the police station, and in fact, searched herself in her kitchen while the detective watched.
We the undersigned, call on the Pottsville Republican Herald to Stop The Lies! Peter Bortner - Retract!
This community is entitled to fair sentencing. Fair sentencing cannot happen when reporters fill the community with lies!
