Stop the lay off of a Special Education teacher

Hello fellow peers and people of the community,

I am starting a petition for a fellow community member who is on the verge of being laid off for doing the correct thing. Her name is Ms.Mariaelena, she works with Belle Haven Elementary School that is within the Ravenswood City School District as a Special Needs Editor. She has an amazing track record in working with children with Special Needs. From helping those children developed reading and writing skills to helping them solve math problems and help them with everyday problems as well. She is well known by the parents and adored by all the children that she helps around her. She has recently encounter an event with a student who is my younger brother, were he was being mistreated by his own Special educator.

From all the evidence that we have gathered, what Ms.Marialena was telling us is in fact true. My little brother special educator was hazing him, threatening him with not helping him and paying little to no attention to him at all, when his job is to help him modivate him and watch over him. But that here was not the case. She took the problem to the principal, but the problem continued. So she brought it to the attention of me and my mother. In the eyes of the Belle Haven staff she has done wrong in reporting the indecent and there for she is being evaluated to be laid off.

I am doing this petition to help her keep her job or at the very least be transferred out. I am asking that you please take a second and put your self in her shoes and ask yourself, "is it right to be laid off for reporting abuse of a special needs student?"
