Imam is my husband. We have recently got married and we have been in relation for 5 years. Imams family lives here, he has got mum,dad and 2 sisters and they all got British passport except my husband.
Imam made a criminal offence by hurting someone and he was sentenced for 12 months and which he had to complete of 6 months and which he has done so and now because he got sentenced for 12 months U.K government rule says he might get deported.
We have made appeal against it. He has paid for what he did and I don't think he should get sent to Sri Lanka away from me and his family.
Stop deportation against Mr Imam Yusuf. Help my family to stay together please. Imam is everything to me. I have got my full future with him yet, we planning to have kids soon. I want to be together as family.
I request please don't let him get deported to Sri Lanka, he has already spent 6 months away from us and i don't want him to be sent away somewhere so far.
Everyone makes mistakes and should not have to pay their entire life for them. He is a good husband/son and brother. He looks after all of us.
Think about if the goverment told you that your spouse was going to go to be in a different country for years and maybe forever how would you feel? Please help me thank you.
