As full time students most of us already faces financial struggles everyday. Trying to juggle university, studying, part time jobs and extracurricular activities is a lot harder than it seems. The fact that a lot of things such as bus passes continues to increase in price does not make that any easier. I believe the introduction of £3o bench fee for lab breakages and consumables is unjustified as these should be covered by our tuition fees.
We, the undersigned, call on Professor Donald Cairns, the Head of the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences to stop the £30/academic year bench fee.
