On Sunday the 4th December 2016 we were refused by 4 taxi drivers who said they could only take 1 chair now my partner and I are both in small chairs myself on power and partner on manual my partner can transfer out of her chair onto a seat and her chair collapses we have been in diablo vans and caddys and we were refused by 4 drivers and a driver who was in a caddy took us the 4 who refused were 7 seater Peugeot express

We were refused by another man on 16th July just last night who refused to take us even though we explained how we do things and then he said he was booked anyway and drove off, we feel we are getting nowhere

Hi everyone we would love if you could sign our petition to stop taxi drivers refusing people in wheelchairs, the law states that if at least 1 of the passengers in a wheelchair can transfer onto a seat then they cannot refuse you if there are 2 of you, if 1 can transfer and 1 stays in the chair that is perfectly fine and we need to stop taxi drivers who are still refusing to take passengers in wheelchairs

Kind regards Natalie and Sally
