I am a 69 year old handicapped woman. I drive to my destinations and must return home promptly in order to ensure I have a parking spot. People come from wherever they are coming from to play ball in our park. They take our spots and some will even sit in their car and say no they aren't coming out (I've seen his first hand) when you ask them!
The movies and shows that are being produced in the park are telling us we cant park where we need to because they are using the spaces. I have been involved in a situation where the staff member of the show told me where to park, but the next morning I was bewildered to find that I've been towed.
I acquired my car back after speaking with the producer on the set, but the wasted time and aggravation was not only unnecessary but it was upsetting to me. I am asking for help.
We, the people, call on our government to stop the coarseness of others blatantly disregard our rights as rent paying citizens. Our parking is being taken by outsiders invading to shoot movies and play ball games.
We are tired of the insolence to the elderly and handicapped people of our town.
We are calling out to our elected officials to help us as we have them by electing them to do what is right.
