I use the X1 service every day to get from Bristol where I live to Backwell where I work, but despite the timetable saying my bus should be here at 09:30AM the bus usually doesn't arrive on time and twice in the last month it's been 15 minutes late.
I am thoroughly fed up with the lack of punctuality we get from First Bus buses, and the absence of any apology from the bus drivers when they finally do turn up at the bus stop. Despite the Bristol City Council fining the company several times, the service doesn't appear to be improving, and with no competition or other viable options I doubt things will get better without more radical action!
So hence why I am starting this petition to get as many commuters as possible who are fed up with First Bus lack of a decent service to sign it and hopefully make the council act to give the people of Bristol the decent public transport service we deserve.
