It is located on two one way streets where children play and will attract too much traffic, drifters, loitering, trash, rodents and worse. The children from the nearby school may attempt to buy cigarettes and alcohol from unscrupulous sales clerks.
Our neighborhood has finally transformed into a small, quiet close knit friendly community on a positive rebound after years of decline. We want to keep improving as a welcoming doormat to attract more property tax paying home owners for years to come.

Stop the opening of corner grocery store on West Ave & Potomac Ave.
These rich business tycoons own several large stores and are more anxious to pursue their lush lifestyle than to make a modest living, like other small neighboring stores. Even our nearby community garden will suffer.
