Stop Cobb County education layoffs

Layoffs due to budget cuts will greatly affect our county. It will directly affect students education which is already suffering due to prior cuts, and will directly affect our communities with so many teachers unemployed.

Teachers are a major resource to small communities. Local business will fail because they rely on teachers buying supplies for the class rooms for projects and other school requirements.

With less teachers, there will be less field trips, also affecting the other cities tourist attractions, ie; Atlanta Zoo, Atlanta Seaquarium, and many other sites that are educational, not to mention the commercial business surrounding these sites. It will be a perpetual downward spiral for the entire state.
