Stop Cell Phone Spyware

We request you to cease all cell phone spyware companies and the usage of their products. A few companies that produce such products are as follows:
1) www.safetyweb.com
2) www.proofpronto.com
3) www. Cellspying.com
4) www.mobilespe.com

We believe that these websites and downloads once implemented will have serious and irreversible consequences of invasions of privacy. There has been very little public acknowledgement on these download/companies, but here is link to support our petition.

The above mentioned website invade ones privacy in one or more of the following ways:

a) Conversations can be heard as the owner of the cell phone is conducting business with their bank, doctors and or lawyers.
b) Private text messages are received and read by the person(s) invading the owners privacy.
c) The cell phone can be remotely activated and live conversations can be heard.
d) The navigator on the cell phone is constantly on and allows the owner to be followed or stalked.

There is need for public debate on these downloads/websites because a lot of people may fall victim to a huge invasion of privacy with consequences as listed:

1) These downloads for spyware, open the flood gates to private conversations going publicly.
a) Test results from a doctor could be detrimental and the patient may want to tell their family personally but with the spyware placed in the wrong hands, could be publicly heard.
b) Conducting business with your bank over the phone, the teller MUST verify the account before preceding with the customer. Most businesses if not all, ask you to verify your name, address, phone number, social security number and or date of birth. Everything a person needs for identity theft.
c) Anyone that may have a trial may have usage of vital information heard via the spyware to use against the other person.

2) Context of text messages cannot be obtained without a supenoa from a lawyer. With these programs text messages can be read and publicly displayed on media networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
a) A parent may send a quick message to their child of their location, if the spyware is on the phone, anyone may know exactly where that child may be. Potential for a child to be abducted.
b) A spouse may send a message to their significant other for the bank account number to transfer money. Potential for hacking into a bank account.
c) A code may be sent to a cell phone to verify the proper person is logging into an account and the account is not being hacked.
