It is tragic that many beautiful companion animals get put to sleep daily just because the people who bought them think of them as disposable. They don't provide flea control, toys or love.
Something needs to be done. Puppy mills thrive because everyone loves a puppy. Pups can be difficult as they grow up and chew things, and are a pain for about 18 month, but then you have the best family member you can hope for.
We, the undersigned, call upon the government of Australia to pass a law to make all companion animals de-sexed to prevent the death of all the surrendered pets.
