Late 2007, CBS Interactive, who now own StarTrek.com follwing CBSs aquisition of Paramount, fired the staff of the website and have left it to mothball on the internet.
As the official portal of a series boasting 5 live action series, an animated series, 10 feature films and an upcoming movie helmed by JJ Abrams, we feel that this is an unnaceptable way to treat fans of this iconic franchise.
We, the undersigned, call on the powers-that-be at CBS Interactive to retore StarTrek.com to it's former glory as the official location for news and articles about the entire Star Trek franchise, or to sell the rights to the domain to someone who will.
