It pains me to see my beloved St George's College straying from one of the facets that gave us our unique identity. The colours of St George's College, have moved from our traditional light blue and white, to now light blue, white, yellow and red.
I have seen recent sports shirts in a predominantly red colour with blue evident only in the crest. I have also seen another one in predominant yellow, again with blue only in the crest. Looking at the outfits, one cannot say that we are maintaining our tradition.
Please join me in petitioning the relevant school authorities to immediately address the school colours. I see George's sports teams representing the school in red and yellow, colours that are not a part of the schools traditional colours of light blue and white. We need the school authorities to honour the light blue and white of St George's College.
Our history and tradition is blue and white....
Stgc good and true, gallant boys in white & blue. Can we beat them, yes I guess, Georges, Georges, yes, yes, yes.
