For years, people in Washington State have started to switch to using mopeds/scooters as a means of transportation, taking in the fact that gas prices are rising and the small maintenance bill meant that not only they were easy to repair, but also simple to operate.
However, the WSL defines a moped in such a mediocre way that the max speed of the bike must be 30 MPH or less (unless if one had an endorsement which could turn into a hassle), regardless of engine size, and with the scarcity of 30 MPH roads, mopeds seemingly begin to slowly become useless, as most mopeds/scooters could be able to do the average standard of 35 MPH.
By signing this petition, you could help take part in a revolution that most 50cc scooter riders long for without the need for an endorsement, to travel onto the main roads easily, safely yet with so much excitement to travel everywhere sensibly.
