Slow down traffic in South Primrose Hill

This petition is aimed at persuading the council to slow traffic down along South Primrose Hill for the following reasons:

1. Most obviously there are too many people exceeding the speed limit in a very narrow one way street - in the event that anybody steps out without looking then there is no chance of avoiding an accident. This especially is of concern for children.

2. Many of us have sustained wing mirror damage as a result of careless (and fast driving). Drivers who cause this damage almost entirely carry on driving leaving residents to incur repair costs.

3. There are occasionally drivers coming down the road the wrong way which is incredibly dangerous because the vast majority of pedestrians look down the one way street from which the traffic should be coming and instinctively do not think to look the opposite way. Further, whilst some of these drivers are doing this in ignorance there are certainly some drivers doing this on purpose as a short cut home to Wheatfield Way or to avoid the traffic light section. When they do this they drive incredibly fast in order to get to the bottom of the street before traffic comes in the opposite direction against them.
