Do you know, Sheffield City Council are proposing to cut and close for some days at all the five recycling centres in Sheffield?
The Centres located at Douglas Rd, Deepcar, High Green, Blackstock Rd and Beighton are all subject to close down for 2 or 3 days. They are already responsible for cutting summer hours down from 8am-7.30pm to 9am-6pm.
The overall proposal will not only lose jobs but will affect your waste disposal service drastically.
We, the undersigned, call on Sheffield City Council not to cut & close Sheffield Recycling Centres as proposed in the contract tender for 2012.
