Over the last 6 months we have seen 5 children killed whilst in care of the department of child safety Queensland. This is unacceptable!
Minister Fentiman continually ducks for cover whilst her department is in serious trouble. We need a minister worthy of holding such a portfolio for the sake of our vulnerable children.
Premier Palaszczuk, we the undersigned, ask you to ask Ms Fentiman to step down as Minister for Child Safety, and ask that you put the care of our vulnerable children before the care of protecting your minister. It's time Shannon Fentiman steps aside and lets the Department of Child safety be led by a minister willing to fix the problems plaguing the department before another child is killed.
