Link Property are planning to build 30 houses on greenbelt land at the bottom of Broomfield Road.
It is a totally unsuitable area and our reasoning is that is it a quiet area in which the countryside should be preserved.
Broomfield road is already running at full capacity with the student parking, any more traffic would make it dangerous, let alone the circa 90 cars that is planned for.
Its not ‘Affordable’ housing! Half will be ‘Social’ for Housing Associations and it is likely that this ‘Social’ Housing will bring nothing but Antisocial behaviour
By widening the Bridleway, a large chunk of the park that is well used will go, again due to the traffic it would then become too dangerous to even have a park next to such a busy road
The current habitat for wildlife will be destroyed with nothing but an eye sore of brick, it is important that we preserve this area which is well used for people walking dogs, fishing, ramblers, bird watchers etc
We, the undersigned, object to this development and call upon Telford and Wrekin council to turn down this application.
