Rutland County Council have suggested 2 plans to improve Oakham town centre. Option A includes a one way system along Oakham High Street. Option 2 includes wider pavements and public seating.
As a long term business owner in Oakham, I know just how much the temporary one way system along the High Street affected my own business, along with many other businesses in the town. I don't feel that it would be an improvement to our small market town. I strongly believe it would actually ruin Oakham and it would result in many businesses closing.
By signing this petition you are saying NO to Option A of Rutland County Councils suggested plans to Oakham town centre which includes a one way system along the High Street.
