Samuel Smiths brewery are renovating the Royal Oak public house in Flint North Wales to start trading in the near future!
They have endorsed a mural depicting a scene of soldiers and a poppy with the words "less we forget" on the wall of this building while the renovation is taking place for the upcoming Remembrance Day to honour our armed forces! However this is on the understanding that the mural will be painted over after the day has passed!
But we the people of Flint Town would prefer to keep the Original mural. We feel as a Town it would be a formidable gesture from the brewery to the town of Flint.
We, the undersigned, call on Samuel Smiths Brewery to "SAVE THE POPPY MURAL" on the Royal Oak Public House!
