Make Damonte Ranch Safer for Residents and Wildlife

This petition is demanding Reno City Council to approve speed limit reductions on Rio Wrangler from 45 mph to 35 mph for public safety reasons. Additionally, this petition is demanding increased street lighting and flashing horse signage in order to protect drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and our beautiful wild horses. There are several blind corners and school bus stops making the current speed limit a public safety concern for all those living on Rio Wrangler. Drivers speed in excessive of 55+mph routinely and endanger the lives of residents and wild horses. Additionally, we are calling on the city to hold developers accountable for construction of fencing in newly developed areas. Please support this effort in making the Damonte Ranch area safer for our children and animals.
