For too long our local skate park has gone to hell due to the lack of care by the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
We as a skating community and as residents of Edenvale demand a change and ask for the skate park to be given over too us as a community project so we can create a safe,skatable and fun enviroment that our community to be proud of.
The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality has had their chance and has failed.
Now give the people a chance to show you what it could be.
We the undersigned (this is whoever stands for the cause) call on the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality to revamp and hand over Skate World situated at Edenvale Sports Club (JP Bezuidenhout Park) 17 th Avenue (next to the swiming pool), 1610 Edenvale, Gauteng, South Africa to the local Skateboarding community.
