Due to the Rates Revaluation only two pubs in Burntisland will pay Rates (Silver Tassie & Old Port)
We will pay £5,592 p.a. while others have to pay nothing. This is creating unfair competition and we are petitioning Fife Council for a fairer deal. If this is not resolved we face closure and job losses

We the undersigned call on Fife Council to create fairer competition for the pubs in Burntisland. We believe it is unjust to expect only 2 pubs in the area to have the burden of paying Rates, while others have nothing to pay.
