Save our Wessex Bus Service 501 and 502

Bristol City Council have stopped there contribution. To Wessex Bus route Avonmouth and Shirehampton service 501 and 502 which covers Kingsweston lane Westbury On Trym Southmead Hospital Wessex service will cease on the 3rd of September 2016.

I think this is a terrible injustice for the many people who rely on these services for shopping, hospital appointments, etc. This means that many older customers myself included will either have to walk down onto the long cross to get an alternative First Bus service. And also it means that these same customers will have to also walk up the hill on return, those with walking difficulties will really struggle.

There is elderly persons' accommodation on Kingsweston Lane also the Guiness trust housing and I am sure people from Mancroft Avenue Barrowmead Drive and surrounding areas will be affected by these changes.
