The allotment fields were set up by the parish council to give local people the opportunity to grow their own fruit and veg.
The people who took on these allotments were under the impression they would be there for as long as they required them.
We the undersigned are opposed to the proposal by a developer to buy allotment field 2 to build houses and an access road.
The allotment holders have put in a lot of hard work over the past 3-4 years.
To see the land being developed would be another nail in the coffin of rural country life.
