Every day, children being dropped off at or picked up from St. Vigor & St. John's School are at risk from traffic speeding past the school. Chilcompton Parish Council recognises that while there are many possible ways of restricting traffic speeds in the village, the number one priority must be a 20 mph zone at the school during drop-off and collection times. If you agree, please show your support by signing this petition.
We, the undersigned, call on Somerset County Council and Avon and Somerset Police to institute a timed 20 mph zone on the B3139 outside St. Vigor & St. John's School in Chilcompton.
