You will be aware of cuts to Route 311 bus
Six bus stops will be cut from the city to Kings Cross route.
The cycleway has narrowed Bourke St making it too dangerous for buses.
Buses were there before the cycleway was built but not after.
Building the cycleway means the loss of public transport, this is wrong!
This has a serious negative impact on our rights to public transport.
Residents have complained to City Council but were directed to STA; then STA directs residents to City Council
Common sense needs to prevail!
Please consider participating in this petition campaign.
The longer buses are removed; it will be nearly impossible to get them returned.
Petition bring back Buses to Route 311
I object to the cuts to six bus stops on Bus Route 311 caused by the construction of the Bourke St cycleway. Residents have complained to Sydney City Council but were directed to STA; then STA directs residents to City Council. This buck passing must stop. Please intervene to return the buses.
Common sense needs to prevail.
