The evidences presented (video) are not sufficient enough to handover such severe punishment. They are just being trapped in this matter. How can on the basis of a sting operation done by a newspaper they could send these people in jail.
Also the tabloid itself has no credibility & has been closed due to some severe issues (hacking..). Also agent Mazher Majeed statement can not be counted as a evidence as he took so many names & if we go by his words then half of cricketers would be behind the bars.
Also all such cases have always been handled by ICC or the respective cricket boards so why this criminal charges are being put on these three cricketers?
Also match fixing & Spot fixing are quiet different, such severe punishment for spot fixing charges is unjust. There have been players with same charges but they were not put into jail & are not declared as criminal then why only these three? ICC wants to set an example for others so just for that life of these three will be ruined? Its not only about their life, its about their family who are going through such humiliation & are being treated as like they belong to a terrorist group.
Why Board or the Government didn't helped their players who have worked so hard for their country? Why people have more belief on an english tabloid than on their own players? At the time of death of Bob Woolmer, players were suspected like as they were the murderers & then also none of the authority stood by their players. Why instead of helping their cricketers board & people are treating them like terrorist.
We should support them to prove their innocence instead of criticizing them. Please stand by them in their most difficult time!
We, the undersigned, request you to please help the three cricketers, Salman Butt, Mohd. Amir & Mohd. Asif, to come out of the jail.
They are not criminals and should not be put behind the bars that too in the London jail. They are three respectable person of the country & nation should stand by them. The allegations & the evidences(sting operation video) are not sufficient enough to hand them with such severe punishment.
Authority should provide them with proper legal & other help & save life of these three players & also of their families.
Hope you will understand the feelings of the fans who want their heroes back & will do the needful.
