Russell Crowe - world renowned actor and Academy Award winner has 2 Australian children. Has been featured on an Australian Postal stamp. He was out of the country in relation to his international Film career when a change to law took effect that now deprives him of citizenship.
He has lived most of his life in Australia 37 of 49 years, yet he seems to fall between the cracks in the changes to the Law. There needs to be Arbitration or Appeal available in such a case.
We, the undersigned, call on the Minister Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship, to Review changes to Laws in 2001 or other impediments that deprive Russell Crowe from obtaining Australian Citizenship, and seek amendment or other ways to enable him to achieve concurring Australian Citizenship with his 2 Children.
