The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism

Canada

Today, the Federal government is cutting the funding for settlement agencies mainly in Ontario. The Federal conservative government has cut approximately $53 million funding from the immigrant settlement and integration programs across Canada from which $44 million funding is cut from Ontario and $10.3 million is cut from Toronto.

Hey Everyone! We are hoping to get in touch with as many immigrants and citizens of Ontario as possible and collect signatures from those who believe that cutting immigration funding for settlement agencies is not appropriate or effective for the economic prosperity of Ontario.

Cutting funding for settlement agencies will provoke lower immigrant productivity in work force, and also, the immigrants will face hurdles in adjusting the new environment. Now, come ahead on the behalf of immigrants and sign the petition.

Thanks
