Revoke the cost for hot water at the RUG University Library

In the past, most of the students have enjoyed the offer of free hot water in the RUG University Library. Recently, this liberty has been abolished and replaced by a fee of 50 cents. As a result of the obvious deterioration of the quality of the library that has been apparent over the past weeks (the inaccessible balcony, the loud music close to exam period, the lack of ashtrays or dustbins in front of the library and the new low-quality, high-cost catering service), the need to refuse the 50cent cost for hot water has emerged. Many students have raised their voice against this change so that a more official platform seems adequate. We hope that voicing this opinion may stop any further cuts that may be planned for the future.
