REVERSAL OF NEW PARKING SYSTEM IN HARARE

Would like to Petition City Park Private Limited in conjunction with City of Harare to reverse its new parking billing system. City Park is running 3 different parking systems in Harare CBD namely:
1, Per Bay Billing (quickpark)
2, Smart Park Prepaid
3, Per hourly Billing (easypark)
All these systems are being used in a small city Harare and they are causing confusion and financial loss to motorist. my main focus is on the Quick park system where by motorist are being forced to pay an hourly ticket of $1 per entry per bay. You ticket is said to expire even after u have just used the bay for less than 2 minutes. When you move to another bay you are forced to pay again. This has become expensive as it is mere extortion of the hard to get by dollar. we would like City of Harare and City park to reverse their decision of per bay per entry $1 fees.
Proposal:
Charge per minute or per second and let the balance be carried over for usage on another bay. your system should be programmed that it doesn't accumulate fines for time which has not been used in full when a motorist changes parking bays.
- Revert back to the old system and just link your system to just cater for logging out when a person moves out of bay and the same should apply to their credit which would not have been used up so that it can be used on another parking bay.
- Your Quick Park system should print the amount owed by person on the receipts not to wait for control to phone the parking marshal to clamp a car. We are not prophets who guesses that we owe you when there is nothing in writing that proves so.
-parking fees should not be prohibitive and be like punishment
-motorists want to do their business and you are also in business lets work together to create a conducive and fair working business environment. Lets stop fleecing each other because in business we need one another.
-If motorists shun your parking bay your business will crumble.

Parking fees should be fair and justifiable. Money cant expire before its full duration of usage.
