The Elphinstone Arms is an integral part of community life in Elphinstone, providing the opportunity for residents of the village to share time together.
Since the public house has been closed it has become increasingly difficult for the residents to enjoy time together and socialise.
Margaret Dodds is unquestionably a warm hearted and community focused person who did much to engender a feeling of community involvement when managing the public house before its closure.
We, the undersigned, call on the East Lothian licencing board to re-instate the operating licence for the Elphinstone Arms without further delay.
