The spinning/revving of car engines as a popular 'sport' is on the increase and has now become a regular weekend activity at the Deja Vu night club (previously The Brazen Head restaurant) situated in the Emkhe Street Shopping Complex.
As this shopping complex is centrally located in a residential area, the excessive noise generated by the intoxicated clientele of the Deja Vu night club, most times until 3-4 am in the morning, whilst entertaining themselves with spinning/revving engines is a dangerous and unnecessary disturbance of the peace and simply unacceptable.
We the residents in the immediate vicinity of Deja Vu Night Club (and other supporters of this cause) hereby petition for the closing down of this club in order to restore our right to peaceful living.
