The Education and Justice Departments of the United States issued a decree to public schools across America requiring schools that receive federal funding to allow students to use bathrooms and locker rooms that correspond to their gender identity.
Failure to comply with the edict from the Federal government could result in law suits and loss of funding.
President Obama has overstepped his authority by essentially forcing schools to allow biological men into girls' locker rooms and bathrooms, and vice versa.
If McCracken County Public Schools adopts this policy, it puts the privacy of every student at risk and opens the door to unwanted consequences.
We, the undersigned, call on the McCracken County Public Schools system to adopt a policy that requires students to use bathrooms and locker rooms according to their biological sex at birth.
