Following an unofficial tradition of an annual nonviolent, student student-run senior prank, the Livingston High School Senior class of 2017 attempted to conduct a prank on 15 June 2017. The agreed-upon prank among the student body consisted of inflating rubber contraceptives with non-helium gas, and parading with them in the hallway. Students would dance around following the natural hallway traffic flow and abiding by the Uniform Fire Code (N.J.A.C. 5:70), along with music that would play at a similar volume to that of music arranged by faculty to play between classes on Fridays. In the process of planing this event, High School Senior and SGA member, Jacqueline Gesualdo was stripped of her SGA membership, and disallowed to make a speech at the graduation ceremony. These punishments were issued as a result of information provided from a Facebook post by Gesualdo in a private forum, and presumed knowledge that she was in some way involved in coordinating this event.

We, the undersigned, call for all punishments against Jacqueline Gesualdo to be revoked, seeing that her actions in no way represent the hard work and passion that she has expressed as an SGA member, and therefore should not disallow her from the privileges coinciding with the position. Specific calls for action include: reinstating Jacqueline Gesualdo as an SGA member; adding no notable changes to any report cards or transcripts including, but not limited to an unsatisfactory marking; allowing Jacqueline Gesualdo to present a speech at the 2017 LHS graduation ceremony.
