I believe that the closing of porth skate park shattered the hobbie of skating in the whole porth area, as when the park closed children and teens had nowhere to skate and were forced to skate on roads and on the streets.
As you are aware he closure of the skate park caused lots of children to be getting into trouble with police and parents as of trespassing or causing a disturbance.
The Reopening of this skatepark would lead to less crime rate and more children off the streets.
