Reopen Erik Stubblefield Murder Case

Erik Stubblefield of Middleton, DE was stabbed one time in the heart by Sharonda Wilson of Irvington, NJ on September 30, 2010.

Sharonda Wilson claims self-defense, that Erik accused her of cheating on him.

Sharonda Wilson was indicted by a Grand Jury on June 10, 2011. The Essex County grand jury has disagreed and did not believe Sharonda Wilson's story of self-defense, and on Friday June 10th, 2011 the Grand Jury returned a murder indictment on the 32-year-old Wilson in connection with the Sept. 30, 2010 killing of her boyfriend, Erik Stubblefield.

Wilson, who taught video and audio production at Irvington High School, was also indicted on two weapons offenses stemming from her unlawful use of a knife, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said in announcing the indictment.

The trial was held on December 6th, 2011; Sharonda was not charged for the murder of Erik Stubblefield and set free.

We the Family of Erik Stubblefield petition that the Murder Case of Erik Stubblefield be reopened due to lack of a proper investigation by the Essex County Homicide Unit and lack of all evidence that was not investigated nor presented at the time of the trial.

We are petitioning that Erik Stubblefield's murder case be reopened, Erik's body resumed and another autopsy be performed and all evidence be presented and a proper investigation done.
