Since the Spanish occupation of the country, there have been plans and declarations to change the name of the Philippines to titles that will best suit the people, and the collective character of the nation as a whole.
Now. I am forwarding this request and petition for all Filipinos to sign desiring that our beloved country be named after the foremost scholar and martyr Dr. Jose Rizal. Let us be one renaming the Philippines into Rizalia!
