We have campers staying at Magnolia Beach for periods of several weeks. They dump their garbage on the Beach in the water and residents of Magnolia have seen them dump the sewage from the campers in the Port Lavaca Bay.

Some are parked in the same location for several weeks and there's no way they keep that much sewage and waste with dumping. The campers come in and stay for long periods and block all others access to the beach and fishing.

This group of people generally bring their food and other needs with them that they purchase in other locations and do not spend much money here and the Tax Payers are footing the bill for picking up the trash and free dumping.

We the undersigned Petition the Calhoun County Commissions Court to limited over night camping at Magnolia Beach to Three night Stays. This excludes any camping on Private Proterty.

The campers cannot park campers in front of the picnics tables or block access to the restroom and showers. We also petition the Court to do something about picking up the trash. Place a $500.00 Fine on anyone caught dumping household garbage in the trash bins except for the party's using the beach.

We also ask the sheriff to enforce the laws on the Beach by not allowing Beach goer to drink brevage drink out of glass container. I and my wife have picked up over 150 beer bottles after the fourth of July and there's a lot of broken bottles that get buried in the sand.
