Remove the statue of Nelson Mandela in Parliament Square, London, as he has never been a British figure of note, a British patriot of a British hero. He has however been involved in the murders on many white South African men, women and children.
It is wrong that we should commemorate such a person who only atoned after a lengthy prison sentence. We in Great Britain maintain a tradition of lauding our heroes, heroines and patriots. We do not need to erect statues to murderers and terrorists. If this was the case, why not dedicate a memorial to Martin McGuiness and Gerry Adams in thanks for what the IRA did to innocents in our country?
Remove this racist and irrelevant statue now.
