Ever since the first Taiwan Missile Crisis, China has been pointing an increasing amount of missiles at Taiwan, and as recently as 1996 fired several missiles near Taiwan's airspace to intimidate Taiwan's elections and causing a huge downturn in Taiwan's Stock market (TAIEX).
As of 2009, 1500 missiles have been pointed at Taiwan. 中國現在有1500導彈對準台灣。
