The CLA is a heritage listed building and therefore I believe should be reflective of its rich cultural history.
I am personally all for tacky lighting and decorations for festivals and celebrations, the tree in my lounge room come December is testament to that.
I may be wrong but it appears the new Disco trees that have been planted on the CLA road frontage have been installed as a permanent feature.
Im not sure how Disco trees fit into the future development of the Gaze rd foreshore, but I believe they greatly diminish from the huge possibilities of the million dollar natural views. The lime green coconut is particularly disturbing.
This highlights a major need for a unified plan for the development of the Gaze rd foreshore with a clear direction for all to adhere to.
We the undersigned call for the removal of La CLA Disco trees from the Gaze rd foreshore.
