The removal of the Confederate flag in Mississippi is a necessity. The Confederate flag has a long history of White Supremacy, Hate, and Violence. The Confederate flag is emotionally, physically, and mentally harmful to the people who are subjected and made to look at the symbolic reminder of oppression. I ask that people no longer have to endure mental and emotional trauma by removing the flying of Confederate flags.
We the undersigned, call on the U.S House of Representatives and Mississippi lawmakers to remove the flying of the Confederate Flag.
