We are foreigners living in Kusadasi, Aydin and have the yearly process of renewing our residency visa in order for us to reside in Turkey.
Abdullah worked at the local foreign residency office. He speaks very good English and has proven to be very professional and helpful when renewing our visa, before Abdullah was working in the office it was a difficult process as the other officers speak very little English and having to take a translator can be very expensive and not everyone can afford to do this.
He has been moved to another area and now the Residency office has no one who can speak English.
We the foreigners residing in Kusadasi, Aydin call on the British Embassy to help Abdullah be reinstated into the local Residency office for Foreigners.
This is necessary to help the foreign community in renewing visas in what is now a yearly process.
The Residency process can be very costly and a difficult process with all the paper work and new rules that are being applied every year as well as all the translating of documents.
Having an English speaker to help explain the necessary documents needed is essential in the process.
