California has a law for unlicensed workers for max $500.00 labor and materials.
I would like to get this raised to $1,000.00 as it is in other states like Nevada.
At this time the state is making millions of dollars off fines from unlicensed workers. With it being 1,000.00 it would be fair to unemployed self employed people to get a fair chance at working without the worry of being fined and/or jailed.
We want a fair chance for all unlicensed people to be able to work for 1,000.00 or less with home owners that would include all labor and materials. The worker would not be able to hire or work with anybody but themselves.
