There are no laws at the moment to prevent farmers from spraying toxic pesticides near innocent bystanders, schools, play areas, nursing homes and residential homes, The government are failing to protect us.
Pesticides can cause brain, breast, prostrate,kidney cancer and leukaemia. Scientific research as also found a link to altziemers, parkingsons, depression, hormone disruption, ADHD, CFS and M.E. THIS MUST STOP NOW !! Did you know that if we lived near a honey farm the farmer must give the beekeeper 48hours notice ? what about public?
* farmers should be giving residents 48 hours notice prior to spraying.
* Buffer zones should be in place to avoid spraying near schools,residents homes, parks and play areas.
* flags/ warning signs should be placed on fields to warn public when spraying in progress .
* spraying to be banned if high winds causing spray drifts.
