Since the pulmaulgation of the constitution, and devolution of health care in Kenya since June 2013, the mother's and children of Kenya have been subjected to untold suffering, untimely deaths, lifetime mental/physical disabilities following the numerous strikes in the healthcare sector.
Cognizant to the provisions of the constitution 2010 on right to the highest attainable levels of health care, we petition the national assembly and senate of Kenya to sanitize this essential sector by creation of legislative framework that will cushion the mothers and children of Kenya from this unending catastrophe.
We are asking the citizens of goodwill to sign this petition requesting the government and trade union leaders to create a law that makes it hard for health facilities to be closed due to industrial unrest's.
