This petion has been set up to propose a new NET FREE ZONE for the Northern Territory. The goal is to have a new NFZ introduced to help protect our local waterways and its inhabitants. If you are passionate about the place we all call home and would like to see the territories fishing return to its former glory, your support would be greatly appreciated. Your support in this matter would be benifitting both the ecological health of the NTs waterways as well as helping boost tourism when the fishery recovers from years of commercial netting
We, the undersigned, call on the NT government to impliment a new NET FREE ZONE from Cape Ford to Cape Don. It's is in the interests of all those signed that our greatest natural asset be protected for future generations by the removal of all commercial netting operations between the areas mentioned above.
