In Washington, MO, St. John's Mercy Hospital is the only local hospital. Therefore, all local physicians should have access to that institution. However, St. John's Mercy Hospital recently removed from staff or denied application to 5 local physicians without cause.
We believe this is harmful to the patient and unfair to the community. To ensure that patients have access to their trusted doctors, we are proposing building a new local hospital where ALL physicians can see and treat patients.

Patients should have access to their doctors at any not-for-profit hospital in their community.
